Raines Dental Announces Winning Local High School Senior In Its Raines Dental Scholarship Program

Olivia Jones of Clearview Regional High School Received $1,000 Award

Raines Dental LLC, a full service practice providing comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry in Mullica Hill, was proud to present the award of this year’s Raines Dental Scholarship to Olivia Jones of Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, NJ. Earlier this spring, graduating seniors were challenged to write a 500-word essay that spoke of their biggest accomplishment in high school and why they are so proud of it. Dr. Raines presented the award and $1,000.00 scholarship towards her college or associates degree at the school’s awards presentation ceremony on Wednesday June 12, 2019. Olivia will also have the opportunity to be highlighted on a Wall of Recognition in the Raines Dental office. \

“This year I received twice as many submissions making it even more difficult to select only one awardee,” says practice owner, Jason Raines, DDS. “It’s a true testament to the students and their eagerness to continue their education. It also showed the graduating seniors were certainly up for the challenge.” Dr. Raines went on to add, “Like last year, Olivia’s submission was a poignant story and the essay itself well written with great feeling and attention to detail. Seeing the growing response, I look forward to continuing this annual program and helping other youth make a difference in our future.” The Raines Dental Scholarship Program is the most recent effort Dr. Raines has implemented or supported to help others. Such efforts have included Pink Wednesdays, Access to Care as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Give Kids a Smile, Dentistry From the Heart and “Take Mom/Dad to the Dentist” for Mother’s and Father’s Days.
