Raines Dental Announces Winning Local High School Senior In Its Raines Dental Scholarship Program

Raines Dental LLC, a full service practice providing comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry in Mullica Hill, is pleased to announce one of the two winners of its first Raines Dental Scholarship awards and presented a scholarship check to Isabel Bennett of Kinsgway Regional High School in Woolwich Township, NJ. Graduating seniors were challenged to write a 500-word essay that spoke of their biggest accomplishment in high school and why they are so proud of it. Isabel visit Dr. Raines at his office and received a $500.00 scholarship towards her college or associates degrees. She is also highlighted on a Wall of Recognition in the Raines Dental office. The second winner from Clearview Regional High School will be named shortly.

“The response was more than I had expected as the first time presenting the scholarship and the graduating seniors were certainly up for the challenge. Selecting only one from each school wasn’t easy,” says practice owner, Jason Raines, DDS. Isabel described in detail her experience in a summer competitive medicine-based internship. Dr. Raines went on to add, “Of the nine (9) essays received, Isabel’s submission stood out not only for the stories and essay structure but how she conveyed her accomplishment with such passion and pride. I look forward to having this become an annual program to celebrate our future.” The Raines Dental Scholarship Program is the most recent effort Dr. Raines has implemented or supported to help others. Such efforts have included Pink Wednesdays, Access to Care as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Give Kids a Smile, Dentistry From the Heart and “Take Mom/Dad to the Dentist” for Mother’s and Father’s Days.
