The Raines Dental Scholarship Returns Offering Three Local High School Seniors

From Clearview Regional High School, GCIT and Kingsway Regional High Schools Up to $1,000. Towards College or Associates Degree

Raines Dental LLC, a full service practice providing comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry in Mullica Hill, announces its Raines Dental Scholarship Program returns after a year hiatus for students at Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT) in Sewell and Kinsgway Regional High School in Woolwich Township, NJ. Graduating seniors are challenged to write a 500-word essay that speaks to how has the world pandemic shaped their high school experience – the significant challenges, successes and looking ahead to the future. New for this year, there will be three (3) scholarships awarded. One (1) First Place winner will receive $1,000.00 plus two (2) Runner Up winners earning $500.00 each towards his or her college or associates degree. Essays are due May 28th and awardees will be announcement in the middle of the month. In addition to receiving the financial contribution, Raines Dental Scholarship Program winners will be highlighted on a Wall of Recognition in the practice office, joining the previous fellow recipients.

“Despite a global pandemic, graduating high school remains such a wonderful milestone and one that should be celebrated as we take a step into the big world,” says practice owner, Jason Raines, DDS. “After a year like no other in our generation, at least, I decided it was time to change the topic a bit and allow seniors the ability to express their experiences – from virtual learning to the re-opening that lies ahead. I also wanted to expand the program a bit to include three (3) scholarships and as in past years, I look forward to reading the essays and getting to know the participants through their writings.“ The Raines Dental Scholarship Program is one of many efforts Dr. Raines has implemented or supported to help others.
